Hello. New to this site and new to Mavic. Back in March, when I was filming a waterfall (Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon), I hit a tree while peeking sideways watching FPV on my iPhone 6 Plus not seeing. Sent to a DJI-repair center in Los Angeles with a broken camera and gimbal, the gimbal ribbon is exposed and the lower fuselage cover bends from a 25-meter fall to the rocks below. Five weeks later and $ 340 in the pocket, my Mavic arrived a few days ago.
As I try to fly, I keep getting the Forward Vision Sensor Calibration Error. Renew Vision System using DJI Assistant 2 or use DJI Go for emergencies. So I tried many times to measure but each time it says at the bottom of the screen to restart the Mavic Pro and try again. After 17 times, I quit and now I'm flying my Mavic as my Phantom 3 Standard. I just removed the current DJI Assistant 2 and reinstalled it. Same thing over and over again.
In addition to driving the Phantom 3 Standard, I also have a Phantom 4. Not a single problem with any Phantom but the ongoing problems with the Mavic Pro after hitting it amended at DJI. What are the ideas? And if I can't get a DJI assistant to rate it, should I send it to DJI LA, or use a local production store? Thank you!
